Fiber-Optic Media Converter series is a kind of 10/100/1000MMbps intelligent adaptive fast Ethernet media converter.It can implement date transmission between twisted pair electrical signals and optical signals which are the two type of network connection media.This type of media converter can extend the transmission distance of a network from 10/100/1000M over copper wires to 120KM in which there is no help of any other converter.It should be installed in 16 rack media converter when chassis used.
Media converters can be used anywhere in the network to integrate newer technology with existing equipment to support new applications,technologies and future growth.Instead of costly,across-the-board upgrades,media converters can extend the productive life of the existing cabling as well as the active equipment.
Single use to achieve a single,multi-mode fiber mode conversion,multi-mode transmission distance of 2 km single-mode transmission distances of up to 120 kilometers,the complete working status indicator,working status,built-in professional switching power supply,security and stability.

1.AutoCross?:Automatically detects and configures the twisted pair port on the converter to the correct MDI or MDI-X configuration.
2.Link Pass Through:Link Pass Through is a troubleshooting feature that allows the media converter to monitor both the fiber and copper RX ports for loss of signal.
3.Automatic Link Restoration:The media converters will automatically re-establish link in all network conditions.
